Sweet Almond - Rich in vitamins A and E, monounsaturated fatty acids, proteins, potassium and zinc, sweet almond oil is a natural oil with a slightly nutty fragrance. It helps to cleanse and moisturise the skin and is used to reduce skin inflammation and to help skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. A lightly hydrating oil which is non-greasy and reasily absorbed.
Orange - Cold pressed sweet orange essence has an uplifting scent containing vitamins A, B and C which feed dry, irritated and acne-prone skin, helping to heal blemishes and improve skin tone. It supports collagen formation in the skin and acts as a general tonic, suitable for all skin types.
Turmeric - is a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory which promotes cellular defence against skin stress to improve tone and radiance, enabling it to look younger and healthier. Ideal for skin prone to becoming dry, lack-lustre, and suffering from uneven tone or hyper pigmentation.
Rose Geranium - With a strong, floral aroma, Rose Geranium is known for its healing effects and is traditionally used to reduce the visible appearance of cellulite through massage. It is soothing to dry skin, but also boasts detoxifying properties which help to clear congested complexions.
Coriander - Brimming with minerals, phytonutrients, and flavonoids, Coriander is believed to stimulate creativity, optimism and imagination. Beneficial for all three doshas, we have used it in our Turmeric + Botanics products for its unique connection with Vata; the creative and artistic Dosha.
Patchouli - An oil traditionally used to aid meditation, and with a distinctive musky and earthy fragrance, patchouli is said to help stimulate the growth of healthy skin cells and heal dry, rough or inflamed skin. This in turn helps with wound healing and to reduce scarring.
Liquorice - extract supports elasticity and restores suppleness. Possessing anti-inflammatory and anti-allergenic properties, Liquorice is also soothing to sensitive skin and its anti-aging activity inhibits melanin production, helping to prevent age spots and add glow to tired complexions.
