My role as the Brand Assistant entails lots of different things which is the beauty of working for Urban Veda. From managing the blog and promoting the website to organising events and educating customers at trade shows, I am certainly not confined to limited tasks. I also do some research for new product development which is really exciting as I will get to see the brand grow every step of the way.
What is your dosha type?
My dosha is Kapha, which means I am a loyal, compassionate and grounded individual. The Purifying range is perfect at neutralising and detoxing my skin.
What is your favourite Urban Veda product?
I absolutely love the Radiance Body Lotion. It is by far the best moisturiser I have tried. My skin is left feeling thoroughly hydrated, not to mention left with a gorgeous and exotic smell.
What’s your proudest Urban Veda moment?
Having only joined Urban Veda recently, my proudest moment has been actually getting my job here. I was lucky as I knew exactly what job and industry I wanted to enter into: marketing for a beauty brand that is environmentally friendly, cruelty free and natural. Job hunting can be long and disheartening but keeping your vision at the front of your mind is so important. What I’m trying to say is don’t settle for anything less than what you truly want to do because eventually it will happen. For me, it was Urban Veda.
What’s your favourite skincare tip?
Despite not being a direct skincare tip, I drink a huge amount of water each day which really helps to rid my body and skin from toxins. The benefits are endless, but it is definitely going to give you skin that will make you look like you know all the skincare tips.
Tell us something about you that we don’t already know…
I have my scuba diving qualification. And was lucky enough to visit the amazing Great Barrier Reef - a real 'pinch me' moment!
