This bundle features all of our body care products to provide you with the ultimate bathing ritual. This range thoroughly cleanses and hydrates the skin with the uplifting aroma of the minty Purifying range.
How to use

Purifying Body Wash: Wet skin in the shower or bath, lather body wash and massage over body using a loofah or sea sponge. Rinse well and pat dry with a soft towel, follow with body lotion.

Purifying Body Scrub: Massage onto damp skin in a circular motion in the direction of the heart, and rinse thoroughly. Complement by following with an Ayurvedic body lotion or oil.

Purifying Body Lotion: Use after showering or bathing, massage onto clean, body using a circular, sweeping motion.

Purifying Body Oil: Urban Veda Body Oils are designed to be used with the Ayurvedic ritual of oil-based massage, Abhyanga, which is practised to condition skin, stimulate limber movement, and calm busy minds. To follow an Abhyanga ritual, begin by rolling the bottle back and forth between the palms to lightly warm the oil. Dispense 4-5 pumps of oil, rub between palms for a moment and inhale the pure aromatherapy oils, before massaging for 5-15 minutes. Starting at your extremities, and adding more oil as needed, use long strokes along your limbs moving towards your heart, while switching to circular motions over joints, torso and chest. Allow to absorb before dressing or bathing.
Active Ingredients

Witch Hazel - Widely cultivated for its medicinal properties, and known for its heavily scented flowers, Witch Hazel's astringent properties, antioxidant and bioflavonoids content help to clarify skin. Traditionally, Witch hazel is used to bathe varicose veins and soothe irritant skin rashes.

Neem - is a very powerful antiseptic and antibacterial plant, which makes it an excellent natural ingredient for those who have excess skin oils, and require some mild cleansing properties throughout their skincare regime. Neem helps to alleviate Kapha and Pitta imbalances.

Orange - Cold pressed sweet orange essence has an uplifting scent containing vitamins A, B and C which feed dry, irritated and acne-prone skin, helping to heal blemishes and improve skin tone. It supports collagen formation in the skin and acts as a general tonic, suitable for all skin types.

Tea Tree - With a zesty, revitalising and somewhat pungent scent, tea tree is a highly powerful and antiseptic skin tonic which helps to cool, reduce inflammation, cleanse and encourage skin healing. It is often used to treat acne, breakouts and skin infections.

Wild Mint - Cooling, stimulating and refreshing, this aromatic essential oil helps to purify and cleanse skin. Naturally astringent, Mint is rich in salicylic acid, a Beta Hydroxy Acid which helps to deeply cleanse to relieve congestion. In Ayurveda, mint alleviates Kapha and Vata.

Spearmint - has a sweet, fresh and menthol aroma which can help skin conditions such as acne and dermatitis. Packed with health benefiting vitamins A, C, B6, antioxidants and phytonutrients, Spearmint helps to relieve stress and fatigue and is more gentle than Peppermint.

Arjuna - has been clinically proven to reduce the depth of wrinkles, moisturise, and reinforce skin's barrier. Its has been verified in laboratory environments which have identified its active constituents as containing 90% triterpenes, helping to support skin stress reduction.

Bearberry - contains naturally brightening compounds Arbutin and Hydroquinone, as well as Ursolic acid and bioflavonoids; active compounds which help combat oxidative damage and free radicals caused by pollution.

Vitamin C - An essential nutrient in the human body, vitamin C supports collagen synthesis, helping to maintain skin vitality. It is an antioxidant which protects the skin from damaging free radicals, and can reduce inflammation in the skin.

Walnut Shell Powder - is a natural, biodegradable substance, which is an effective yet soft abrasive exfoliant. Milled into a powder, walnut shell powder is a very durable and angular ingredient which is both gentle yet effective when used within an exfoliating scrub.

Eucalyptus - An aromatic essential oil with a refreshing and revitalising scent, this invigorating tonic has a zingy, uplifting effect. Eucalyptus is used in Ayurveda to help reduce Kapha and Vata imbalances, and in Aromatherapy to relieve muscle aches.

Glycerin - is a pure natural vegetable moisturiser which has humectant properties help to preserve skin’s homeostasis by drawing moisture from the environment to hydrate the surface layers of the skin. Evidence also suggests it enables other skin lipids to perform better.

Lemon - With an uplifting citrus aroma, lemon is rich in vitamin C which promotes skin vitality. Often used for clearing acne, lemon can also be used to remove dead skin cells to create a smooth surface and can help to ease cold sores and insect bites.

Mediterranean Cypress - With a woody and masculine scent, mediterranean cypress has a calming effect and is traditionally used to boost circulation in mature skin. A good overall skin tonic, cypress is astringent which means it is great for oily and congested skin and for healing wounds.

Patchouli - An oil traditionally used to aid meditation, and with a distinctive musky and earthy fragrance, patchouli is said to help stimulate the growth of healthy skin cells and heal dry, rough or inflamed skin. This in turn helps with wound healing and to reduce scarring.

Sweet Almond - Rich in vitamins A and E, monounsaturated fatty acids, proteins, potassium and zinc, sweet almond oil is a natural oil with a slightly nutty fragrance. It helps to cleanse and moisturise the skin and is used to reduce skin inflammation and to help skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. A lightly hydrating oil which is non-greasy and reasily absorbed.

Rose Geranium - With a strong, floral aroma, Rose Geranium is known for its healing effects and is traditionally used to reduce the visible appearance of cellulite through massage. It is soothing to dry skin, but also boasts detoxifying properties which help to clear congested complexions.
