How to use

Radiance Body Wash: Wet skin in the shower or bath, lather body wash and massage over body using a loofah or sea sponge. Rinse well and pat dry with a soft towel, follow with body lotion.

Radiance Body Scrub: Massage onto damp skin in a circular motion in the direction of the heart, and rinse thoroughly. Complement by following with an Ayurvedic body lotion or oil.

Radiance Body Lotion: Use after showering or bathing, massage onto clean, body using a circular, sweeping motion.

Radiance Body Oil: Urban Veda Body Oils are designed to be used with the Ayurvedic ritual of oil-based massage, Abhyanga, which is practised to condition skin, stimulate limber movement, and calm busy minds. To follow an Abhyanga ritual, begin by rolling the bottle back and forth between the palms to lightly warm the oil. Dispense 4-5 pumps of oil, rub between palms for a moment and inhale the pure aromatherapy oils, before massaging for 5-15 minutes. Starting at your extremities, and adding more oil as needed, use long strokes along your limbs moving towards your heart, while switching to circular motions over joints, torso and chest. Allow to absorb before dressing or bathing.
Active Ingredients

Turmeric - is a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory which promotes cellular defence against skin stress to improve tone and radiance, enabling it to look younger and healthier. Ideal for skin prone to becoming dry, lack-lustre, and suffering from uneven tone or hyper pigmentation.

Orange - Cold pressed sweet orange essence has an uplifting scent containing vitamins A, B and C which feed dry, irritated and acne-prone skin, helping to heal blemishes and improve skin tone. It supports collagen formation in the skin and acts as a general tonic, suitable for all skin types.

Liquorice - extract supports elasticity and restores suppleness. Possessing anti-inflammatory and anti-allergenic properties, Liquorice is also soothing to sensitive skin and its anti-aging activity inhibits melanin production, helping to prevent age spots and add glow to tired complexions.

Patchouli - An oil traditionally used to aid meditation, and with a distinctive musky and earthy fragrance, patchouli is said to help stimulate the growth of healthy skin cells and heal dry, rough or inflamed skin. This in turn helps with wound healing and to reduce scarring.

Coriander - Brimming with minerals, phytonutrients, and flavonoids, Coriander is believed to stimulate creativity, optimism and imagination. Beneficial for all three doshas, we have used it in our Turmeric + Botanics products for its unique connection with Vata; the creative and artistic Dosha.

Cedarwood - has a warm, seductive scent said to help relieve nervous tension. Possessing astringent and antiseptic properties, Cedarwood is traditionally used to help counteract problems such as excess shine, sebum and blackheads that arise from oil-prone skin.

Southern Cone Marigold - is anti-inflammatory and beneficial to dry, brittle and inflamed skin, owing to the essential oil's high triterpenoid content and ability to minimise skin stress. In aromatherapy, its scent is said to be a neurotonic and mentally calming.

Papaya - is full of antioxidants and enzymes Papain and Chymopapain which decrease inflammation and help reduce breakouts by removing dead skin cells that can block pores. Papaya also helps to brighten the skins complexion and bring it back to life.

Goji Berry - contains exceedingly high levels of vitamins C, A and Fibre, Zinc and Iron minerals as well as antioxidants which help to reduce damage to cell DNA and membranes, plus minerals, polysaccharides and Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs).

Glycerin - is a pure natural vegetable moisturiser which has humectant properties help to preserve skin’s homeostasis by drawing moisture from the environment to hydrate the surface layers of the skin. Evidence also suggests it enables other skin lipids to perform better.

Sweet Almond - Rich in vitamins A and E, monounsaturated fatty acids, proteins, potassium and zinc, sweet almond oil is a natural oil with a slightly nutty fragrance. It helps to cleanse and moisturise the skin and is used to reduce skin inflammation and to help skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. A lightly hydrating oil which is non-greasy and reasily absorbed.
